Koko Swim Academy was created to cater to the swim needs of the local community on the beautiful island of Oahu. The founders of the academy, who are teachers, mothers, competitive swimmers, and water safety advocates, have developed a comprehensive series of swim programs that focus on water education and safety for children and individuals of all ages.
The academy offers a wide range of classes, starting from infants and including Parent & Me group classes, where parents can come together and share their parenting experiences. The classes cater to every stage and age of life, even for adults who are interested in improving their aquatic skills.
Unfortunately, drowning is the leading cause of death for children under the age of 5. Just like crawling and walking, swimming is a learned skill that can be quickly mastered. The academy’s goal is to meet the needs of both parents and children, ensuring they receive water education and providing them with peace of mind knowing that they are prepared. The programs and lessons have been carefully crafted to achieve these outcomes.
Most of the lessons are offered on the East side of Oahu, but the academy also provides private lessons at a location of your choice.
